SteamFast Earns Good Housekeeping Seal on Products

KANSAS CITY, MO – As a part of a strategic marketing move to strengthen its brand positioning among consumers, SteamFast has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal for several of it steam cleaning and fabric steaming products.

Steamfast steam cleaners which have earned the Seal include the SF-226 handheld steam cleaner and the SF-275 canister steam cleaner.

This adds to the already wide range of Steamfast Fabric Steamers with the Seal, including: SF-435, SF-407 and the SF-465. The 465 Professional Fabric Steamer was recently cited by the Good Housekeeping Institute Buyer’s Guide as “Best Overall” in a direct comparison article with two other nationally-known fabric steamers.

Other items include the Steamfast SF-140 steam mop and the SF-717 travel steam iron.

A survey conducted in March 2005 by Fairfield Research for Good Housekeeping, revealed that “81 percent of consumers polled are more inclined to buy the product with the Seal.” Additionally, the research indicated “If a product they wanted to buy was priced higher than expected, consumers are willing to pay more for a product if it displayed the Seal.”

The SteamFast Brand markets a full line of consumer steam cleaning appliances, including steam cleaners which carry the well-known McCulloch brand name steam products.
